You are invited to participate in a study that aims to investigate university students' sleep and the balance between sleep, studies, and other activities such as sports or physical activity.
You are being asked to complete a short anonymous survey of approximately 20 minutes. Please read each question carefully and answer as well as you can. You must answer each question as they are all important. You are free to stop the survey at any time without prejudice. In that case, only the questions you have already answered will be recorded.
There is no risk or benefit in participating in the study. The questionnaire is anonymous, and it is impossible to trace your identity. The anonymous data may be consulted by authorized Université du Québec (UQO) personnel for monitoring and auditing purposes in accordance with the Regulations for the use of computers and telecommunications resources.
The results will be used for scientific purposes in doctoral theses or essays, scientific articles, conference papers, and other future projects aimed at studying university students' sleep. This study has the potential to have important implications for university students facing challenges with sleep and balancing studies, work and sports. The data will be stored on password-protected computers for 25 years and then permanently destroyed.
If you have any questions or concerns about the project, you can contact the research team at duvf02@uqo.ca.
The UQO ethics committee approves this project. If you have any questions or concerns about ethical issues, you can contact the president of the UQO ethics committee, André Durivage, at 819-595-3900 ext. 1781.
